1. About Us
These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings made with Otherworldly Tales, operated by Michelle Hooijmaijers – van den Hout, based in Scotland, United Kingdom.
By booking a tour, you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings & Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
Bookings are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you receive confirmation by email.
Places are limited to maintain a small, immersive group experience.
3. Cancellations by You
If you need to cancel your booking:
• More than 7 days before the tour: Full refund
• 2–7 days before the tour: 50% refund
• Less than 48 hours before the tour: No refund
Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
Tickets are non-transferable unless agreed in advance.
4. Cancellations by Otherworldly Tales
In the event of:
• Severe weather warnings
• Unsafe conditions
• Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
The tour may be cancelled. In this case, you will be offered:
• A full refund
or
• The option to transfer to another available date
5. Health & Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to take part in a 3-hour outdoor walking tour, including gentle inclines and uneven ground.
Please inform us in advance of any accessibility requirements or medical conditions that may affect participation.
Participants join the tour at their own risk. Otherworldly Tales cannot accept liability for personal injury or loss unless caused by proven negligence.
6. Weather
Tours operate in typical Scottish weather conditions. Participants are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and footwear.
7. Changes to Itinerary
Routes and content may vary slightly due to weather, safety considerations, or group needs. The overall experience and duration will remain substantially the same.
8. Intellectual Property
All stories, written content, and materials shared during tours remain the intellectual property of Otherworldly Tales and may not be recorded or reproduced without permission.
